Alessio J. M. Rossini — organic chemist, drug designer, and lifelong explorer of psychoactive substances. Lugano, Switzerland. Born 1991.

A seasoned psychonaut, I have personally experimented with over 350 compounds — from Research Chemicals to NPS, from nootropics to performance enhancers. Not out of recklessness, but out of method: every molecule is a hypothesis to be tested.

My work merges cutting-edge pharmacology with hands-on experimentation. I promote raw, uncensored education on all psychoactive substances — rejecting stigma and arbitrary distinctions between molecules.

My spiritual mentors: Alexander “Sasha” Shulgin, David Nutt, David E. Nichols, and Albert Hofmann — whom I had the honor of visiting in 2009 during the production of the documentary “The Substance”.

Amphetamines bind the central S1 site midway through the membrane bilayer, in a tripod grip formed by Asp46 (ionic, TM1), Phe43 (π-stack, TM1), and Phe319/Phe325 (TM6). Two Na⁺ ions stabilize the conformation. The transporter then undergoes a conformational shift — this is what reverses the flow.
